so for our ornament, it wasnt tall enough to be an out door ornament or an indoor ornament.... so we had to cut of the end of another water bottle and put that onto the end of the other one. it ended up not being tapped on there at the right angle so it was a bit lop sided... in the end we had to make 3 water bottles on our materials list into 4 water bottles and instead of it being 8 1/4 in. tall it was 10 1/4 in. tall. at first we got like 110 in. as our surface area but i think we did something wrong because at the end we got like 375 in. as our surface area! but i think the second time with 375 in. is more near correct though..... our ornament turned out really good. ale96 was my partner. we spray painted it with 'Fusion' spray paint and hot glued small "sprinkels" onto it so they looked like thorns. acctually they were 'Fashion Express Beads' but Logan thought they were sprinkels so he ate one. it was pretty funny. it turned out looking pretty good acctually. i think we have a chance of making it as an outdoor ornament. <3

we are making a cactus out of water bottles. we cut off the ends of two water bottles and stuck them on the side of a full water bottle with tape. it looks more like a fire hydrant right now, plus we used my water bottle that had water in it but the water is gone now... lol so i'm hoping it will look better when its finished. were going to spray paint our "cactus" green and use small stick like plastic beads to make it look like it has thorns.
